Ful Medames

for breakfast

  • 1/2 whole onion, chopped
  • 1 clove if garlic
  • 1 can of ful beans (discard the water)
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 whole tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chillic ,chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Method

  • Saute onion and garlic with some oil.
  • Add in ful beans, cumin powder and chilli powder.
  • Using a masher, mash most of the beans.
  • Turn off the heat. Transfer onto a plate.
  • Topped with tomatoes, onions, chillies and fresh parsley and drizzle of olive oil
  • Serve with tortilla.
