This easy overnight oats recipe is a simple breakfast that you can make ahead for busy mornings and customize with many add-ins and toppings
For the soaked oats:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- sprinkles of cinnamon powder
- sprinkles of clove powder
- 1 cup milk of choice
To serve:
- a dollop of greek yogurt
- dark cherries in syrup
Method
- Mix the ingredients for the soaked oats in a container and leave in the fridge overnight
- In a small pot, heat the soaked oats mixture with some water, adjust the consistency to your liking, add more water for a thinner consistency or less water for a thicker consistency. Let boil.
- Turn off the heat and transfer into a bowl. Dollop some greek yogurt, and spoon some cherries with some syrup from the can.
