Oatmeal Bowl

This easy overnight oats recipe is a simple breakfast that you can make ahead for busy mornings and customize with many add-ins and toppings

For the soaked oats:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • sprinkles of cinnamon powder
  • sprinkles of clove powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice

To serve:

  • a dollop of greek yogurt
  • dark cherries in syrup

Method

  1. Mix the ingredients for the soaked oats in a container and leave in the fridge overnight
  2. In a small pot, heat the soaked oats mixture with some water, adjust the consistency to your liking, add more water for a thinner consistency or less water for a thicker consistency. Let boil.
  3. Turn off the heat and transfer into a bowl. Dollop some greek yogurt, and spoon some cherries with some syrup from the can.
