Pineapple Upside Down Cake

with vanilla ice cream

  • 187g all purpose flour
  • 150g castor sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 can of sliced pineapple
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp treacle
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

method

  • preheat oven at 180c for 50 minutes.
  • line an 8\” cake pan with a baking paper.
  • lined with sprinkles of brown sugar and treacl, then arrange the pineapple slices on top.set aside.
  • beat flour and sugar in a kitchen mixer until fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  • add in eggs. beat for another 2 minutes.
  • add in all of the ingredients. pour onto the pan.
  • bake for 25 minutes or until done.
  • serve with a dollop of ice cream.
